Carlos Coutinho
Seventh generation of the Cunha Coutinho family. Entrepreneur, with investments in different business areas, among which the launch of the Paez brand stands out, he has always sought to maintain the connection to what he truly loves: the land. It is dedicated to family farming in Alentejo, and is also the main driver of the Cazas Novas vitiviniculture project, in tribute to the generational tradition built in Baião.
Diogo Lopes
One of the great names of the new generation of Portuguese oenology, involved in renowned projects in Alentejo, Douro, Lisbon and Azores. He is passionate about the study of Portuguese white grape varieties, which he recognizes, due to the originality and diversity of terroirs, the quality to match the best white wines in the world. The approach to the Avesso variety, a variety with great potential and new approaches in perspective, is yet another one.
Vasco Magalhães
From a family linked to vineyards and wine, he graduated in Marketing and later graduated in Oenology. The smells, stories and people he met on his travels through Régua and Tua, in the Douro valley, as well as visits to the port wine cellars and the tasting places where his father worked, aroused his passion from an early age for the world of wines. He has accumulated experience in partically all areas of the sector, from marketing, to sales and even viticulture. Today he is a consultant to several producers in Portugal and has been in the Cazas Novas project since 2011.
André Miranda
He is the most recent partner and enthusiast of Cazas Novas wines, to which he brings all his experience as a producer in the land where he was born, precisely in the Vinho Verde Region. He contributed to the national and international affirmation of Casal de Ventozela wines, another successful project where it boosts, with great dynamism, the areas of production, business and brand building.
